MAIL-IN BALLOT APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE ONLINE NOW!
Applications for mail-in ballots for the November 3rd GENERAL ELECTION are available now online at www.votespa.com.  For more information about voting by mail-in ballots visit www.votespa.com/mailballot.

Schedule for mail-in ballots.  Once your application has been processed you will receive a ballot.  Your completed ballot must be received in your county election office by 8 PM on 11/03/2020 (Election Day).  A late ballot will not be accepted, even if it was postmarked before the deadline.  Tip:  Be sure to follow the instructions carefully.  Use a black pen and remember to enclose your completed ballot in the security envelope before putting it in the outer envelope.  It's an easy mistake to make and many people did so in the Primary.

VOTING IN PERSON AT A POLLING PLACE.
You can still vote in person at a polling place but please know that due to COVID-19, your polling place may have changed.
Voters can find their polling place at www.montcopa.org/voterservices  and clicking on "Where do I vote?"

UPDATE ON REDISTICTING EFFORTS IN PA
PA Legislative efforts to end gerrymandering come to a halt with the General Assembly on summer break, but....
Philadelphia Inquirer, July 9:
" The stakes are significant: Independent research shows gerrymandering protects incumbents and strips communities of political power by heavily concentrating one party’s voters into a single district or spreading them out unnaturally."
League of Women Voters member and co-founder of Fair Districts PA, Carol Kuniholm said that now with legislators on summer break, the bills that were under consideration as constitutional amendments are dead.  But the effort to end gerrymandering in Pennsylvania continues.
